About Me
The Hard-Working Professional.During college, I landed internships with Victoria’s Secret and Saks Fifth Avenue that opened my eyes to my undeniable passion for being part of a creative process. Since then I have continued to expand and grow my skills through positions at highly-respected companies, including Coach and The Flex Company. While at Coach I discovered my strong interest in product development, due to its harmony between creativity and logic. While leading the creation of the supplement category at The Flex Company and developing their first two dietary supplements, I cultivated strong project management skills and unlocked my appetite for working at a mission-based company.
I am a thoughtful and imaginative project manager who seamlessly combines my strategic background and my creative abilities to get the job done. I am an innovative thinker and resourceful problem-solver who can dissect the big picture into meticulous parts while keeping my team focused on the overall goal. The Fun-Loving AdventurerThough I pride myself in my strong work ethic and drive to achieve my professional goals, I am a fun-loving adventure-seeker who fully believes in a strong work-life balance. During my free time I can be found exploring a new city or an undiscovered area of my own with my camera in-hand, designing floral arrangements for clients, or venturing out on the water or the slopes.
I caught the travel bug at a young age and am always thinking about where I want to go next. Sometimes it's a foreign country and sometimes it's a town a few hours from home. No matter where I go, I always have my camera with me - a passion that I inherited from my grandfather. For me, it's a creative outlet that allows me to see things in a different way than I normally do. When I don't have my camera in-hand, it's likely because they're full of flowers. I grew up surrounded by my mom's gardens and so it seemed inevitable that I would become a plant mom of my own. I took it one step further and started freelancing as a floral designer here in NYC - it was love at first bouquet. Being able to combine various colors and textures either for myself or to bring clients's visions to life brings me endless joy. Despite all the new things I've tried, skiing and being on the water are two things that will always hold the top spots on my list. Growing up I spent every weekend in the Winter training with my race team and every weekend in the Summer on the boat. I wouldn't change a thing about that. |
